Dorfgastein-Grossarltal Ski Region
The Dorfgastein-Grossarltal ski region is located just on the doorstep of Dorfgastein. You can reach this fantastic ski region from Hotel Römerhof either ??by foot or with the free ski bus. Twenty lifts and cable cars, 80 slopes, rustic alpine chalets, a snowboard park, endless fun for the kids, ski schools and many other highlights await you in Dorfgastein, meaning a varied winter holiday programme for skiers and snowboarders. And when it comes to quality, Dorfgastein-Grossarltal has the edge: this region regularly wins awards for grooming and snowmaking. And with modern lifts, wide slopes and the great panorama, this ski region scores big in Gastein.
Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel Ski Area
The ski area of Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel is the largest in the Gastein Valley. Just as in Dorfgastein, well maintained slopes of all difficulty levels await you - even on their own, the long runs are a real treat. Stubnerkogel is also a mecca for snowboarders and freestyle skiers as it boasts the Snowpark Gastein.
Sportgastein Ski Area
Sportgastein is the highest altitude ski area in Gastein and is the number one address for skiers. Slopes covered in deep snow, moguls and the challenging descent into the valley are the main highlights of Sportgastein. Free ride skiers will certainly get their money’s worth - and all of this happens at 2,700 m above sea level.
Graukogel Ski Area
Graukogel is another Gastein ski area that is geared towards experts. The FIS racecourse and the long, challenging descent runs into the valley give top skiers a necessary kick. One perk at Graukogel is the forests next to the slopes, meaning that even in bad weather or windy conditions your skiing fun won’t be spoiled!
